Girls basketball: Washougal 49, Battle Ground 32

The Panthers took off to a 13-point lead in the first quarter and cruised for their second win in as many games.

Mason Oberg scored 15 points and dished out six assists to lead Wahsougal. Lindsey Thomas added 11 points and was credited with shut-down defense, especially in the first half when the Tigers were held to 11 points.

Beyonce Bea had nine points, 19 rebounds, and three blocked shots in another all-around performance for Washougal.

Morgan Stradley led Battle Ground with 10 points.
