PORTLAND — A shot fired at a Portland theater ended a show headlined by rapper The Game.

Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson says officers responded to the Roseland Theater shortly after 10:30 p.m. Thursday. He said no victims were found, and officers worked with venue security to clear the building.

Simpson says there’s information a victim may have left the scene prior to police arrival. He said no such victim showed up at a Portland-area hospital Thursday night or Friday morning.

The Portland Police Bureau’s Gang Enforcement Team is conducting the investigation.

Ramon Diaz, a 24-year-old concertgoer, told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he heard commotion and a single blast while an opening act performed. He said people then ran for the exit.
