Vancouver – The city of Vancouver and the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors, or SHIBA, are sponsoring a free Medicare forum next week.

The forum is 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Luepke Senior Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd.

The forum will include a short presentation at the beginning, with time for one-on-one consultations with qualified SHIBA advisors about Medicare basics, open enrollment and comparing plans for 2017.

No appointments or registration is required.

The city is offering this forum as part of Vancouver Parks and Recreation’s 50 and Better Program. For more information about the program, visit www.cityofvancouver.us/50andbetter.
