STEVENSON — Those who hike in the Columbia Gorge next weekend and photograph it will be rewarded with a 10 percent discount at Stevenson businesses. It’s part of the fourth annual Fall Hike the Gorge weekend Friday through Oct. 23 that encourages people to see fall foliage in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

Hikers can show photos to get a discount from participating businesses: Walking Man Brewing, Red Bluff Tap House, Clark & Lewies, Big River Grill, the service deli at A&J Select Market, Subway and the gift shop at the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum. People can also use the hashtag #FallGorgeHikes on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

Recommended hikes include Beacon Rock, Hamilton Mountain, Dog Mountain, Table Mountain, Fall Creek Falls, Whistle Punk, Cape Horn Loop and the trails at Skamania Lodge — all accessible from state Highway 14.
