Letter: Herrera Beutler finally sees light

So Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler finally decided to reject Donald Trump. What took her so long? Wasn’t it enough that he called Mexicans rapists and murderers? That he verbally attacked the Gold Star Khan family? That he wants to ban Muslims from immigrating, and put a highly illegal “watch” on those who do live here? That he offends African-Americans at every turn? That he has disrespected his (third) wife on so many levels? That he called a Latina beauty queen “Miss Housekeeping”?

That was a mighty broad fence that Herrera Beutler was sitting on, to keep her out of the “decided” column for so long.
