It’s not a surprise that Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, is throwing her vote away yet again. She has skipped hundreds of votes during her time in Congress (the sixth-worst record out of 435 congressional members) and she regularly is a no-show at congressional committee meetings.
It has been a very long time, indeed, since we citizens had an effective congressional leader who would listen to constituents at town hall meetings and then show up in Congress to actually represent us. Let’s not throw our votes away. Let’s vote for Jim Moeller and make Congress work again.
