SEATAC — One man was killed and a bystander was wounded in a shooting at a SeaTac motel.
The Seattle Times reports the shooting took place at 10 p.m. Wednesday.
King County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived to find a man in the parking lot dead from a gunshot wound.
Officials say a second man injured in the shooting told deputies that he was shot while exiting a motel shower.
Investigators say the man who was killed was staying at the motel with two others while working on a construction project. He was arguing with a man in the parking lot when he was shot. At least one bullet struck the man in the chest, while another entered a motel room and struck the second victim.
The suspect is described as a male in his twenties. He fled the motel in a dark-colored car.
