Non-league football: La Salle 42, Hudson’s Bay 35

Marco Cadiz scored three touchdowns, but a late comeback attempt was thwarted by a fumble as the Eagles lost a non-league game at Milwaukie, Ore.

Cadiz ran for three touchdowns in the first half, including a 55-yard run that gave Bay a 21-20 lead in the second quarter.

To a Kamatule’s punt return for a score gave Bay a 29-26 lead in the third quarter.

After La Salle reclaimed the lead, the Eagles went up 35-34 on a 5-yard touchdown pass by Jordan Hickman.

The Falcons bounced back to take a 42-35 lead after three quarters. The score stayed that way in the fourth quarter. The Eagles drove to the La Salle 15 before a fumble ended their comeback hopes.
