Have some odds and ends that need thrown out? Clark County is hosting a free Green Neighbors Recycling Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Clark College, 1900 Fort Vancouver Way.

Crews will set up on the campus’ yellow parking lot 1 to take block foam, electronics, tires without rims, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and scrap metal. Participants are limited to five tires per person. Shredding services are available, with a limit of two banker boxes per visit.

Household hazardous waste will not be accepted.

Green Neighbors is a Public Health program of Clark County Solid Waste. It is sponsoring the event in partnership with the city of Vancouver.
