The Columbia River Mental Health Foundation is hosting an awards luncheon with a speaker presenting about childhood trauma.

The luncheon is at noon Sept. 22 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St., and will feature Sharon Wise, who will give a presentation, “Childhood Trauma — A Journey of Hope, Healing and Resilience.”

The event also will honor a local business and resident for their contributions. Joan Caley will receive the Behavioral Health Community Service Award for her decades of personal and professional commitment to behavioral health services in the community. DeWils Interiors and Appliances will receive the Behavioral Health Business Champion Award for its support of the behavioral health provider network.

The luncheon is free, but attendees will be asked to make a donation. Attendees should reserve a seat at www.crmhfoundation.org.
