SPOKANE — The mother of a 2-year-old found dead in Spokane has been arrested on federal drug charges.
The Spokesman-Review reports 28-year-old Lovina Rainey is suspected of intending to sell methamphetamine and possession of a gun to be used in drug trafficking.
Her boyfriend, Jason J. Obermiller, has been arrested on a murder charge for the death of her toddler, Adalynn Hoyt, last week. Hoyt died of a blow to the stomach.
Court documents say detectives found more than 90 grams of meth and over 44 grams of heroin that Rainey said was hers. Investigators also reported finding a scale, a gun and a drug sales ledger.
