Twice, the House of Representatives, and our representative Jaime Herrera Beutler, voted against President Trump showing, even to Congress, his tax returns. Maybe ignorance is bliss, or the ostrich sticking its head in the sand works for her, but not for me. As Americans, we have a right to know where his money is coming from, and which countries he is invested in.
I have contacted Herrera Beutler’s office, looking for a reasonable reason, to no avail. Maybe if she hears from other constituents, she will start looking out for America’s best interests. I also find it interesting that she waited for the day before the vote on the “health bill,” to say she wouldn’t support it. Heck, even I knew it was a dead deal before that. Timing is everything.
