The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.
In March, the Dental Commission agreed to reinstate the permit for moderate sedation with parenteral agents of dentist Phong Thanh Bui. The credential was suspended in 2013 in connection with sedation issues.
In March, the Chiropractic Commission charged chiropractor Ryan B. Macedo with unprofessional conduct. Macedo allegedly didn’t comply with a 2015 stipulation requiring him to practice under the mentorship of another chiropractor, and didn’t respond in a timely manner to requests for three patients’ treatment records.
