It’s Night of Magic for all ages with Adam the Great, who pairs slight of hand with comedic timing, and Leapin’ Louie, who specialized in physical comedy from juggling to western-inspired rope tricks. Join the Kiggins Theatre and the Niche Wine Bar for the Orson Welles film “Touch of Evil” and wine tastings. Welles plays a crooked police chief who frames a Mexican youth at a border town for a larger criminal plot. The pre-show tastings begin at 6:30 p.m., with the film starting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., Vancouver. Union Theatre Players invite audiences to try to solve “The Mousetrap,” the classic murder mystery by Agatha Christie. A group of seven strangers is stranded by a snowstorm in a guest house, with rumors of a suspected murderer being among them. As suspicions grow, and Inspector Trotter arrives, a second body is found. Performances begin at 7 p.m. April 13-15 and 2 p.m. April 15 at Union High School, 6201 N.W. Friberg-Strunk St., Camas. Vital Forces is a physical theater company comprised of Vancouver School of Arts and Academics alumni and current students, creating work that incorporates movement, masks and music. Join the Pearson Air Museum for Yuri’s Night World Space Party, a world space party in commemoration of Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first human to travel into outer space. The local celebration will feature space-themed activities including water-powered rockets, a lecture on space travel and weather, permitting a star gazing tour. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s April concert features the talents of the three gold medalists of the symphony’s 23rd Annual Young Artists Competition. The Willamette Radio Workshop joins Re-Imagined Radio for an original adaptation of the story collection “The City of Weird,” from Forest Avenue Press. The annual Clark Public Utilities Home and Garden Idea Fair offers up spring inspiration for the home, yard and garden from local businesses, services and organizations. Highlights include an indoor landscape showcase by the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals, children’s activities, a large plant sale by the Specialty Nursery Association of Clark County and a mini farmers market.
