Local trainer earns national recognition

East Vancouver — Brian Stecker, owner of Boomer Fitness, was named 2017 Trainer of the Year at the Fitness Business Summit, held last month in San Diego, Calif. The award is given to a trainer who has made significant contributions to his or her clients and community. Stecker was awarded the honor out of more than 4,000 applicants. He has more than 10 years of experience as a trainer, and developed a total exercise curriculum for the baby boomer generation.
