In advance of the college’s annual career fair, Clark College welcomed students to browse for free professional outfits Wednesday.

The college’s Career Clothing Closet kicks off next month’s Career Days, a series of workshops, skills sessions and other events to help students transition into a career or college. The program, now in its 13th year, is only available to Clark College students.

Each student can put together a complete outfit, including a shirt, suit, pants or skirt, tie, accessories and shoes. The closet continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

Career Days, meanwhile, runs May 1 to May 4.

Last year’s Career Clothing Closet provided professional clothing to more than 500 students, according to the college’s website.

Donations of clothes or cash to support the program can be dropped off at Clark College Career Services in the Penguin Union Building. Clark College is at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way.
