Letter: Work to stop distracted driving

Thanks to Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, for Senate Bill 5289, and to Rep. Jessyn Farrell, D-Seattle, for companion House Bill 1371. Distracted driving is something the undistracted see many times each day on the road. Our society is becoming deeply entrenched in their technology-provided entertainment. Unfortunately, these bills are too late for those killed in Washington before now.
