Three base hits were all the Skyview baseball needed on Monday night.

The Storm rode one opportunistic inning and Daniel Copeland’s pitching to a 4-0 win over Union at Propstra Stadium.

Carter Hill tripled with one out in the fourth inning, then scored on a wild pitch three pitches later. Skyview would add two more runs in the inning on bases-loaded walks.

Skyview added a run in the sixth inning. Tanner Jacques singled, advanced on a wild pitch, then scored on an error.

That was more than enough offense than Copeland needed. The junior scattered six hits, struck out seven and walked one.

Skyview remains atop the 4A Greater St. Helens League at 6-1, 9-3 overall.

Union fell to 2-7, 5-11 overall.
