Four people were injured when a driver ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle in Battle Ground early Sunday morning.

Anthony Isiah Gleason, 21, of Eugene, Ore., was driving west on Main Street at about 1 a.m. Sunday and did not stop for a red light at the intersection of state Highway 503 and struck a northbound vehicle, according to Battle Ground Police spokeswoman Bonnie Gilberti.

Gleason was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where he remains in satisfactory condition. Two passengers in his car were not injured, Gilberti said.

Three people inside the northbound vehicle were all injured and taken to PeaceHealth: Olvera Ramon Estrada, 53, Maria Lourdes Estrada, 48, and Mario Angel Estrada, 19, all of Battle Ground.

Mario and Maria Estrada were treated and released from the hospital, but Olvera Estrada’s condition was not available.

Officers referred the report to the Battle Ground Municipal Court for potential citations against Gleason including failure to obey a traffic control device, driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without insurance.
