A fallen tree limb left 2,370 customers without power for almost an hour Thursday evening in east Vancouver, according to Clark Public Utilities spokesperson Erica Erland.

Clark PUD received a call about 6 p.m. of a downed power line near  Northeast162nd Avenue and Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard. Erland said a service crew was promptly dispatched but that the utility was able to quickly restore power to about 1,000 people by remotely “rerouting power through a different feeder.”

The service crew repaired the downed line and had power fully restored by about 6:45 p.m., Erland said.
