Huff tied for lead at Oregon Stroke Play

Hockinson High grad and Concordia University golfer Nick Huff shot a 4-under-par 68 to get a share of the lead at the Oregon Men’s Stroke Play Championship on Saturday at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Ore.

Huff is tied with University of Oregon golfer Kevin Geniza going into today’s final round.

Huff made seven birdies including four on the last six holes to get to 3-under for the tournament.

Brett Johnson of Vancouver is tied for 10th at 3-over, Braeden Campbell of Washougal is tied for 14th at 4-over, and Oregon Junior Amateur champion Spencer Tibbits of Vancouver is tied for 17th at 5-over.

In the senior division, Mike Gleason of Camas is tied for fifth, four shots back, and Brad Karns of Vancouver is tied for 10th, five back.
