Letter: Council should stick to business

By Jeanne Gellerup, Vancouver

My advice to the council:

Have your quiet time at home. Enter the council chamber. Remain standing. Say the pledge of allegiance to the flag. Sit down. Start the meeting with the business of the day. Do not have a discussion on invocations on my dime. Council time is for business, not bickering like children.

I am an 84-year-old woman and I feel strongly about this.
