MABTON — Authorities say one man died of multiple gunshot wounds and another was taken to the hospital after a shooting outside Mabton, Washington.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports that 18-year-old Marco Fuentes of Sunnyside died from injuries suffered in the shooting that took place around 3 a.m. Sunday.
The Yakima County Sheriff’s office says Fuentes was taken to Prosser Community Hospital, where he died of his injuries. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Another victim was treated at Sunnyside Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The location had been the scene of a large party just prior to the shooting.
