Letter: Support Orange for port

By John Vanvig, VANCOUVER
Published: August 22, 2017, 6:00am

Don Orange is anything but a single-issue candidate for the Port of Vancouver commission. Far from it.

Orange is the highly respected owner of a small Vancouver business. He is committed to respecting the wishes of the people who own the port. And he is determined to keep Vancouver from becoming a smoky, stinking oil town.

Vancouver residents have ample reason to be concerned about the port and its impact on property values and community livability. Dismissing them as single-issue voters is wrong.

Don Orange is right — right on the issues, and right for the port commission.
