Two people suffered injuries described as not life threatening after a two-vehicle crash south of Dollars Corner this morning.

Emergency crews were called to a crash at Northeast 72nd Avenue and Northeast 199th Street where two pickup trucks collided.

One of the trucks landed on its side and a 54-year-old woman inside had to be extricated, Clark County Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Dawdy said.

The agency was assisted by Clark County Fire District 3 and Vancouver Fire Department and spent about 15 minutes with the heavy extrication, Dawdy said.

A man was also taken to an area hospital, Dawdy said.

Both people had not life threatening injuries, Clark County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Todd Barsness said.

Details about the crash were not immediately available, though Barsness said that, according to a witness, one of the pickups ran a red light.
