Clark College is hosting an information session Wednesday for a program aimed at helping rural students learn manufacturing and utility skills.
The Rural Access Mechatronics Program, also known as RAMP, trains people for mechanical and electrical jobs with a curriculum designed for working adults who live outside the Vancouver-Portland metro area.
Classes combine in-person and online teaching. Graduates would leave with either the skills to take on an entry-level technician job or to continue in the program to earn an associate degree.
