Girls basketball: Prairie 56, Skyview 24

Allison Corral paced Prairie, which took control with a 21-0 edge in the third quarter.

Brooke Walling added 14 points and Mallory Williams had 13 for the Falcons, who held a 7-6 lead after one quarter.

The Falcons outrebounded Skyview 39-16 and finished with 15 steals — nine of those came in the second quarter, which Prairie shut out Skyview 21-0.

“The moved the ball really well, and just outpaced us,” Skyview coach Brett Johnson said.

Cassidy Gardner finished with eight assists.

“She was just seeing the court really well,” Prairie coach Hala Corral said.

Prairie (4-0) hosts Union on Wednesday.
