The Battle Ground Police Department is looking for two people who eluded officers over the weekend, and the department is asking the public for help.

Around 11 p.m. Sunday, Battle Ground officers located a Subaru Impreza hatchback that had eluded Vancouver police officers earlier that day.

The Battle Ground officers approached the vehicle, which bore Washington license plates BGA9065, then those inside drove away at a high rate, again eluding police.

There were two people inside the police are trying to identify: a white woman about 20 to 28 years old with red hair and close-set eyes; and an Asian man about 30 to 35 years old with a medium complexion, stocky build, bald head and thin goatee.

The Battle Ground Police Department asked anyone with helpful information regarding the case to contact Sgt. Aaron Kanooth at 360-342-5254 or aaron.kanooth@cityofbg.org. Tipsters can share information anonymously online at www.cityofbg.org/tips.

Tipsters can refer to case No. 17-2626.
