Girls basketball: Woodland 76, Asotin 36

Nicole Guthrie led the Beavers with 17 points as Woodland won a non-league played at Central Washington Tournament in Ellensburg.

Sophomores Kelly Sweyer added 12 points and six rebounds and Payten Foster had 11 pointers for the Beavers, who jumped out to a 13-0 lead and led 37-14 by halftime.

Kaija Olson had nine points and three steals.
