No suspect found following Vancouver SWAT call-out

The Vancouver Police Department unsuccessfully tried to locate a wanted person Thursday afternoon in the area of Southeast 164th Avenue and Mill Plain Boulevard.

SWAT officers responded to the scene, but left the area when police determined they could not locate the suspect around 12:30 p.m., according to a tweet from the police department.

No streets were closed due to the activity, police said.

No additional information was immediately available.
