The Portland Trail Blazers summer squad just couldn’t keep up with the Boston Celtics squad, falling 70-64 on Sunday at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The Celtics jumped out to an 11-0 lead as the Blazers missed their first six shots.

Caleb Swanigan, the Blazers’ other first round pick, finished with 12 points (4 of 12 shooting) and seven rebounds.

Pat Connaughton was the only other Blazer in double figures with 11 points on 5 of 11 shooting.

All told, the Blazers shot 27.9 percent from the floor and was outrebounded 45-34.

Boston was led in scoring by Jaylen Brown’s 13 points and Jayson Tatum’s 11 points. Tatum was the No. 3 overall pick in the NBA Draft.
