Letter: Choose Orange for port commission

By Carrie Parks, VANCOUVER

No one takes a family vacation to an industrial oil town that smells bad, has grimy buildings and trains that run past your room all night.

Companies behind the huge fossil fuel projects planned for Southwest Washington are promising jobs. But they don’t mention the loss of jobs these plants will cause.

Don Orange represents the wishes of our community in rejecting these projects. His opponent supports dirty fossil fuels at the port.
