Two Clark County teams in Calgary, only one could move on.

And it was Primetime of Vancouver.

Primetime beat RBI Baseball 6-3 in the semifinals of the Senior Babe Ruth (ages 16-18) Pacific Northwest Regional on Saturday.

Primetime, which is 5-0 in the tournament, will play Calgary Blues AAA, also 5-0, on Sunday morning for a spot in the Babe Ruth 16-18 World Series at Ephrata.

Primetime won two games on Saturday. It opened the day with a 12-7 win over Wyoming.

Sam Lauderdale was 3 for 4 with a home run, and Cole Sheretz was 2 for 4 with a double and three RBI.

In the semifinal, RBI Baseball out-hit Primetime 7-5 and had runners in scoring position in the fifth and seventh innings but could not push across a run.

Zach Weinert had a run-run double in RBI Baseball’s three-run first inning.

Jasper Rank was the winning pitcher for Primetime with seven strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. He was also 2 for 3 with a run-scoring triple in the second inning.
