Letter: Bridge woes should have been fixed

Your July 24 story regarding the traffic mess (“Interstate 5 overflow snarls city streets”) was right on. It is actually like this even on Saturdays. Just imagine how this would not be a problem had we gotten a new I-5 bridge with light rail.
