The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as it investigates about three months of alleged check fraud.

A man used a Clark County man’s identity to write fraudulent checks in Clark and Multnomah Counties between April and June of this year, according to a news release. The man also used a fake ID in the victim’s name.

An older man was in the suspect’s company on April 28, according to the release.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or his companion is asked to call Detective Robin Yakhour at 360-448-8487.
