SAFETY PATROL HALL OF FAME

Journey Mohn, a fifth-grader at Columbia Valley Elementary in Vancouver, was named to the 2017 AAA School Safety Patrol Hall of Fame. Journey is a safety advocate at her school, where she is recognized as a responsible and mature individual, dedicated to helping keep her fellow students safe. She is seen as dependable, always willing to help others and provides positive support to younger students and new school patrollers.

She and nine other winners from schools in Washington were honored at an awards ceremony before a Seattle Mariners game May 20 in Seattle.
