Letter: Focus on future in hacking case

By George Alexander, VANCOUVER

Significant time and space by our media is spent discussing the investigations of Trump campaign members’ collusion with the Russians. Other than reports of confirmed hacking attempts on 39 states’ voting apparatus, there has been no public discussion of efforts to not only prevent future hacking efforts, but also to develop our own offensive tools.

How can we be assured that such action is being taken?
