Letter: You get what you vote for

By Robert Lieberman, VANCOUVER

I don’t see why you all are picking on President Trump. (He calls it “witch hunt.”) What’s wrong with him telling the FBI director “I would hope you can” do something?

So what if it was in a supervisor-subordinate relationship and, therefore, obviously an order or direction. That goes on in business all the time. When campaigning, he said he would run the government like a business, and tens of millions of you (92,441 in Clark County) voted for him.

So what if he wants to discriminate against some people wanting to come to the United States? When campaigning, he said he would do that, and tens of millions of you voted for him. No matter how atrocious, immoral, and obnoxious he was during the campaign, tens of millions of you voted for him. So, please remember, “you get what you vote for” — and leave the poor, or rather, extremely rich guy alone.
