FLORENCE, Ore. — Authorities have identified a 37-year-old man as the person killed in a shootout with police last week in Florence, Ore.

Cameron Ollman of Mapleton, Ore., died Saturday after a pursuit involving Florence police and deputies from Lane and Douglas counties. The shooting on Highway 126 remains under investigation, and authorities have not released details about the chase or said which agency fired the shot that killed Ollman.

Court records show Ollman was sentenced in 2013 to 19 months in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.
