Sheriff’s detectives are asking the public to keep an eye out for a woman suspected of robbing a Chase Bank branch in Salmon Creek late Thursday afternoon.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, a woman entered the bank, at 12903 N.E. Highway 99, around 5 p.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding money.

The teller handed over the money, and the woman fled.

Responding deputies were unable to find the woman but shared images of her taken from surveillance video.

The woman was described as about 5 feet 3 inches tall, heavy-set and with purple hair.

The sheriff’s office encouraged anyone with helpful information on the case to call Detective Drew Kennison at 360-989-7803.
