A Camas man accused of possessing more than 300 files containing child pornography made a first appearance Thursday in Clark County Superior Court.
Jorden D. Knight, 21, appeared on suspicion of 10 counts of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
On March 23, 2016, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information from Dropbox, a file hosting service, that a user was using the service to store child pornography. The service provided 322 files and account data to the agency, which determined the user lives in the Vancouver area, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
The Vancouver Police Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit began investigating and reviewed three of the videos associated with the account. The videos depicted girls and boys between the ages of 9 to 13 engaged in sexual conduct, the affidavit said.
