Letter: Thanks to Wolfe and the port

By Shannon Stull, Vancouver

I want to applaud the work of Port of Vancouver Commissioner Brian Wolfe for his willingness to continue the Vancouver Energy lease and allow the EFSEC review process to go forward.

It is imperative that our elected officials and regulatory agencies follow the established rules and guidelines. Future investors in Vancouver and Washington state are watching these proceedings carefully.

We need consistent, reliable and timely regulatory policies and procedures. Allowing the process to continue was the right decision, and I applaud him for his courage and thank him for doing his job.
