Letter: Clark College performance inspires

By

This community was once again treated to a virtuoso performance of the Clark College Concert Choir and Concert Band to an enthusiastic audience, under the direction of maestros Jacob Funk and Richard Inouye, and the aerospace program director Keith Stansbury.

The program “Beyond the Stars” was a terrific collaboration between the music department and aerospace program, and seemed to be a natural and creative match for the spring season — a season when the skies clear for voices, music, and even the launch of a rocket.

I, for one, did not know that Clark College’s aerospace program had launch plans for a two-stage rocket, or that black holes emit the frequency of a B flat. Let us all congratulate and support Clark College programs in providing innovative and truly inspiring events.
