Green Neighbors Recycling Day is today

Battle Ground – Green Neighbors, a public health program of Clark County Solid Waste, will sponsor a Recycling Day Event in partnership with the city of Battle Ground. Clark County residents can drop off block foam, electronic equipment, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, scrap metal and no more than five tires without rims per person. People can also bring paper to be shredded, although no more than two banker boxes is allowed. No business waste will be accepted.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Battle Ground High School, 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground, and proof of Clark County residency, such as a driver’s license, might be required.
