GRESHAM, Ore. — Police say a woman and a 9-year-old boy were shot at an Oregon apartment complex.
The Gresham police department said both were critically injured Monday morning.
Police said they are looking for at least one person who they believe broke into the apartment shortly before the shooting. Investigators don’t believe it was a random attack.
Police have not said if the shooting was gang related, but the East Metro Gang Task Force has joined the investigation.
A neighbor told KOIN-TV he heard about three gunshots.
