One person reportedly was shot Wednesday night in east Vancouver, around the Burton-Evergreen neighborhood.
Around 9:30 p.m., police officers and emergency medical personnel were called to the 15300 block of Northeast 20th Street, a few blocks east of Evergreen High School, for a report of gunshots, according to emergency dispatch logs. The call soon changed to a response for a gunshot wound, logs showed.
According to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian, someone had been shot in the leg.
