Hearing set for proposed Best Western

A proposed Best Western Premier hotel in the Fisher’s Landing East neighborhood is due for a land use hearing.

The four-story, 132-room hotel, 1500 S.E. 167th Ave., would need a conditional use permit from the city of Vancouver. The hotel would include meeting space, a lounge, a fitness center and an indoor swimming pool. The 2.01-acre lot proposed is owned by Kirkwood Properties Two of Vancouver.
