The promises were numerous and ridiculous.
Immediately, the Affordable Care Act would be replaced with a better, perfect-yet-inexpensive health care plan.
Everyone here illegally would be removed, as work began on a great wall (without cost to us), which would keep illegal people out permanently.
Terrorism would evaporate, with the terrorists quivering in fear of the man who knows more about them than do our generals.

Had Hillary Clinton won the election, been plagued by a fraction of the scandals Trump has, then handed Russia the same highly classified material Trump did, then signed an arms deal with the Saudis, after which her daughter immediately received a $100 million “charity donation” from them, as did Ivanka Trump, I wonder what Eckels would be saying about her? That’s rhetorical, of course; it’s easy to imagine the answer.
The follow-up question: What must Trump do to make his supporters wise up — personally hand Russian President Vladimir Putin our nuclear codes?
