Letter: Liberal shows hypocrisy

Recently while I was stuck in rush hour traffic, I was subjected to a 20-minute rant from an irate female in an adjacent car. She was upset with one of my conservative-leaning bumper stickers and proceeded to continually flip me off and call me untrue names like “racist,” “bigot,” “Nazi.” No, it was not a Trump sticker as I did not vote for the man. I ignored her but was struck by the “Love Trumps Hate” sticker in her window and pondered the hypocrisy of the liberal Left.

They preach “diversity and inclusion” yet insist upon conformity to their ideas. How is that diversity? They demand respect but fail to reciprocate it when someone disagrees with them. They claim to oppose hate yet engage in profanity-laced diatribes complete with vulgar displays, destruction of personal property and increasingly physical assault. How is that love?

They claim freedom of speech, but then deny it to others. They say “we can fly our flag and offend you but you can’t fly yours and offend us.” And what about the election? The Left said that Trump had to accept the election’s results, but they don’t have to? These double standards amount to hypocrisy.
