State patrol troopers say a Battle Ground teen was under the influence of alcohol or drugs when he caused a collision between two cars near Lewisville Park early on Memorial Day.
Andrew D. Daniel, 19, was arrested and jailed on suspicion of vehicular assault. Troopers say the collision occurred about 1:35 a.m. when his northbound SUV crossed the center line of Highway 503 about one mile north of Battle Ground. It struck a southbound SUV head-on.
The driver of the second SUV, Stephanie D. Patterson, 25, of Vancouver, was listed in serious but stable condition Monday evening at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
